Delivery

Delivery is completely free across most of the UK mainland.

Dispatch means your order has left our warehouse and is on its way to you. Delivery is when our professional team brings your order to your home and places it in your chosen room.

Yes! If your home isn’t ready yet, we can hold your sofa in storage and schedule delivery at a later date. Simply contact our customer service team after placing your order to arrange a convenient delivery window.

Standard delivery takes 3–10 days, depending on stock availability and your location. Pre-order items will show an estimated arrival date on the product page, and we’ll keep you updated every step of the way.

Whenever possible, yes — we aim to deliver all items together. If any part of your order is delayed, our team will notify you and coordinate multiple deliveries if needed.

You can update your delivery address by contacting customer service before your order is dispatched. Once in transit, address changes may incur an additional fee depending on courier routing.

If your sofa arrives damaged, incomplete, or lost, please contact us immediately at support@sofa-shop.co.uk with photos or details. We’ll resolve the issue quickly — whether by repair, replacement, or refund, depending on the situation.

We deliver to most of mainland UK, including England, Wales, and Scotland (mainland areas). Some remote postcodes may require additional lead time or a small surcharge.

If you miss your scheduled delivery, our team will contact you to arrange re-delivery. Please note that a £100 re-delivery fee may apply if the original slot was missed without prior notice.

Yes — our expert two-man team can deliver upstairs, provided there’s safe access. Please inform us in advance if there are stairs, lifts, or tight spaces so we can prepare accordingly.

Yes, you can request a preferred delivery date when placing your order. We’ll do our best to meet your requested day based on route availability.

Most of our recliner sofas feature detachable backs, making them easy to manoeuvre through doorways and staircases.

We offer flexible delivery scheduling, including Saturdays, Sundays. While exact time slots depend on routing, you’ll receive a two-hour time window on the day of delivery.

A pre-order means your chosen sofa is temporarily out of stock but will be shipped as soon as it arrives in our warehouse. Estimated lead times are displayed on the product page, and you’ll be notified as soon as your order is ready for dispatch.

Products & Warranty

Yes — all sofas come with a 12-month manufacturer’s warranty that covers structural or mechanical defects under normal household use.

Our optional 5-year Castelan Premium Warranty provides full protection against accidental stains, rips, tears, burns, scratches, structural defects and electrical faults in recliner mechanisms. It ensures your sofa stays in perfect condition year after year.

If any parts or accessories are missing, contact us right away. We’ll send replacement parts or arrange a technician visit to complete assembly.

Stock availability is shown on each product page. If an item is marked as “Pre-Order,” you can still purchase it, and we’ll notify you once it’s ready for delivery.

Yes — we can remove and responsibly dispose of your old sofa during delivery. Simply select the option at checkout or inform our customer service team when scheduling delivery.

Yes — our professional team can assemble your sofa on-site and ensure all recliner features work perfectly. Assembly pricing varies by product and is available at checkout.

We sell both Real leather sofas made from top-grain genuine cowhide and premium Leatheraire/fabric options. Each product page specifies the exact upholstery type.

Sofa Maintenance & Care

Use a soft damp cloth for daily cleaning. For deeper care, use a specialist leather cleaner and conditioner every few months to keep the hide supple and prevent cracking. Avoid harsh chemicals or alcohol-based sprays.

Vacuum regularly using a soft brush attachment to remove dust. For spills, blot gently with a clean damp cloth and mild fabric cleaner — avoid rubbing, which may damage fibres.

Act quickly! Blot (don’t rub) the spill with a clean cloth and use a recommended upholstery cleaner. If your sofa is covered by the Castelan Warranty, contact the helpline for professional stain removal.

Yes — we stock professional-grade cleaning and protection kits for both leather and fabric sofas. These help prolong the life of your furniture and maintain its appearance.

Yes, our cleaning and protection kits are available for purchase online or through customer service. They’re formulated for the specific materials we use in our sofas.
