Every surface you sit on and touch is top-grain genuine leather, the strongest and most durable cut of the hide. On this order batch, that's certified genuine top-grain from Leonardo Srl. Earlier Grey  batches carry certified top-grain semi-aniline cowhide, ethically sourced — so if you're matching an existing piece, ask us and we'll confirm the exact batch of your unit. We match the claim to the sofa, not the sofa to the claim. Non-touch rear and side panels are colour-matched man-made material, stated plainly, and independently screened for banned azo dyes, formaldehyde, lead and regulated phthalates. Real leather breathes; synthetic sweats. It's hand-stitched and handcrafted, and creasing over time is a sign it's genuine.

Who it's for.
Tall people, first. The Milano's high-back support and power headrests mean your head is supported, not hanging over the top rail like it does on the sofa you own now — the headrest carries the weight of your head instead of your neck muscles doing the work. Shorter people, equally: recline the seat and the footrest rises to meet your legs, so nothing dangles, and the matching Milano footstool is there if you'd rather keep your feet up while sitting upright. Does the middle seat of the Milano 3 seater recline? No — the two outer seats power recline independently, while the centre seat holds the fold-down table, so each person sets their own position. Is the Milano real leather? Yes, on this order batch: certified genuine top-grain leather, finished by Leonardo Srl in Arzignano, with a Vicenza Chamber of Commerce Certificate of Origin on file. Is a Grey leather recliner sofa good for tall people? It's one of the best options available. The Milano's high-back support and power headrests support the head and neck rather than leaving them hanging over the top. If you're over about 6ft 2in, we'd still suggest a showroom sit or video fitting first.

How far from the wall does it need to be? Only around 5–7cm. The Milano is a wall-hugging smart recliner sofa — the seat glides forward as it reclines, so it fully opens in rooms where a conventional recliner wouldn't fit.

Do the massage and heat actually work, or is it a gimmick?
